Iain Macleod Associates
have been providing consultancy and training services for
industry since 1991.
Most of our work consists of training
in Geometrical Tolerancing and other subjects related to
technical product specification. Our training courses are
usually delivered on-site for clients, and are generally
tailored to reflect the nature of the client's business.
Iain Macleod is a member of the BSI
Technical Committee TDW/4, which is responsible for standards in the
area of Technical Product Realization, and has recently taken
over the chair of subcommittee TDW/4/8, which is responsible for the
development and maintenance of BS 8888.
Iain Macleod is also a member of ISO Technical Committee TC213,
which develops the ISO standards relating to Geometrical Tolerancing
and Geometrical Product
Specification.
Our clients include Formula 1 racing teams, and
manufacturing organisations in the defence,
aerospace, automotive and
transport
sectors, as well as many SMEs across a wide range of industries.

We provide
training courses on-site, wherever and
whenever you need them.
The training is tailored to reflect the
kind of work that you do, using
your products and components as the
basis of some of the worked examples and
exercises which are used on the courses.
Public Courses
Course: Geometrical Tolerancing to BS 8888 and ISO Standards
Dates: 25th, 26th and 27th May.
Venue: The National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 0LW (near Heathrow Airport).
This course is accredited by the
National Physical Laboratory and validated by The National Skills Academy for Manufacturing.
Delegates who successfully complete the course receive a numbered certificate, registered with
NPL Training, which also carries the National Skills Academy logo.

CHAIR of TDW/4/8
In January of 2008, Iain Macleod took over from Kim Spence as the
chairman of BSI technical committee TDW/4/8, which is responsible for
the maintenance and development of BS 8888.
